Terms & Conditions

1. Promoter
   1.1 The promoter is LEAP Family Law, a division of LEAP Legal Software Pty Ltd (ABN 68 085 029 885), located at Level 10, 55 Market Street, Sydney, NSW 2000 (“Promoter”).
   
   
2. Eligibility
   2.1 Entry is open to Australian residents aged 18 years and over who are admitted to the legal profession, including members of the judiciary or those registered with a Bar Association or Law Society in any State or Territory of Australia (“Eligible Entrants”).
   
   2.2 Employees of the Promoter and its related bodies corporate, as well as their immediate families, and any associated agencies, are ineligible to enter.
   
   
3. Promotional Period
   3.1 The promotion commences at 10:00am AEST on 17 July 2025 and ends at 11:59pm AEDT on 27 November 2025 (“Promotional Period”).
   
   
4. How to Enter
   4.1 To enter, Eligible Entrants must:
   
   4.1.1 Register their name, email address, and contact details at https://www.leap.com.au/making-money-with-ai or https://leapfamilylaw.eventsair.com/making-money-with-ai-in-family-law/ during the Promotional Period; and
   
   4.1.2 Attend one of the “Making Money with AI in Family Law” seminars held on the following dates:

   17 July 2025
   6 August 2025
   8 August 2025
   12 August 2025
   15 August 2025
   19 August 2025
   21 August 2025
   27 August 2025
   29 August 2025
   10 September 2025
   12 September 2025

   4.2 Each Eligible Entrant is limited to one (1) entry. However, additional entries will be granted for each referred individual who registers and attends a seminar during the Promotional Period. To qualify as a referral, the referred individual must enter your name in the referral field on the event registration form.
   
   
5. Prize
   5.1 One winner will receive:
   - Return economy class flights to Hamilton Island for two (2) persons (purchased once winner is announced);
   - Accommodation at Intercontinental Hayman Island for 4 nights valued at AUD $2,7995.2 The Prize is not transferable, exchangeable or redeemable for cash or credit. No substitutions will be offered.
   
   
6. Prize Draw
   6.1 The Prize draw will be conducted at 10:00am AEDT on 27 November 2025 at the Promoter’s Sydney office (Level 10, 55 Market Street, Sydney NSW 2000). The winner will be the first valid entry randomly drawn from all eligible entries. The draw will be electronic.
   
   6.2 The winner will be notified by phone and email within two (2) business days
   
   
7. Unclaimed Prize
   7.1 If the Prize is not claimed by 5:00pm AEDT on 27 November 2025, a redraw will take place at 3:00pm AEDT on 4 December 2025 at the same location. The winner of the redraw will be notified within two (2) business days.
   
   
8. Verification
   8.1 The Promoter reserves the right to verify the identity, age, eligibility, and address of entrants and may request proof of identity or professional credentials. Entries deemed not compliant with these Terms may be disqualified.
   
   
9. Publicity
   9.1 By accepting the Prize, the winner consents to the use of their name, image, and likeness for promotional and marketing purposes by the Promoter, without further compensation.
   
   
10. Limitation of Liability
    10.1 To the maximum extent permitted by law, the Promoter and its related bodies corporate are not liable for any loss, damage, or personal injury suffered or sustained in connection with the Promotion or the Prize including but not limited to direct or indirect consequential loss or loss of profits.
    
    10.2 This includes, without limitation, any loss arising from:
    - Technical issues, tampering, or unauthorised intervention;
    - Lost, late, or misdirected entries;
    - Disruptions beyond the Promoter’s control.
    
    10.3 Nothing in these Terms excludes any rights or remedies under the Australian Consumer Law which cannot be excluded, restricted, or modified.
    
    
11. General Conditions
    11.1 The Promoter reserves the right to modify, suspend, or terminate the Promotion at any time, subject to applicable legislation.
    
    11.2 These Terms may be amended at the Promoter’s discretion without prior notice.
    
    11.3 All decisions by the Promoter regarding the Promotion are final and binding.
    
    
12. Privacy
    
    12.1 All personal information collected in connection with this Promotion will be handled in accordance with the Promoter’s Privacy Policy, available at https://www.leap.com.au/privacy/
    
    12.2 Personal information may be used for:
    - Conducting and administering the Promotion;
    - Communicating with entrants;
    - Marketing and promotional purposes;
    - Disclosing to third-party service providers assisting with the Promotion.
